Richmond Hospital is a suburban 270 bed facility with a mature Hospitalist program seeking enthusiastic doctors wanting to do regular, ongoing locum work as our mandate continues to grow with the population.  If desired, there will be an eventual pathway to a staff position for qualified candidates.  

We are a teaching program, as a popular elective for 4th year clerks and PGY1/2 CCFP and FRCP, but this is not a mandatory activity.  A team based, collaborative approach is an integral part of our daily workflow:  we meet regularly and actively support each other.

Experience an asset, but we are very willing to mentor good candidates.  Commitments of 7 day blocks are preferred, but we are willing to be flexible to accommodate different needs/offerings.  We already have great, personable doctors on the team and are well supported by specialists.  

Location is excellent near Canada Line and major bikeways.  Convenience to Richmond Centre mall, fresh salmon in historic Steveston, rowing/kayaking/sailing the Fraser tributaries, the US border, YVR airport, and downtown Vancouver are unbeatable and together with our schedule offers great lifestyle opportunities.
