CSHM Awards
CSHM recognizes leaders in the field of Hospital Medicine in Canada. Awards for Clinical Excellence, Outstanding Service in Hospital Medicine and Quality Improvement and Patient Safety are presented at the Canadian Hospitalist Conference each year. Award winners receive complementary admission to the conference and are recognized in front of their peers at the Conference Dinner.
Nomination Process
The selection committee will consist of the current Annual Canadian Hospitalist Conference organization committee. Current committee members are not eligible for awards. Nominations are made by candidates peers. Please take the time to recognize the great contribution made by your colleagues.

CSHM Award for Clinical Excellence
The CSHM Award for Clinical Excellence shall be presented to a Canadian Physician in recognition of exemplary clinical service in Hospital Medicine.
Criteria for Evaluation
While all of the following may not apply to each candidate, the Awards Committee plans to evaluate each candidate using the following criteria:
CSHM Award for Outstanding Service in Hospital Medicine
The CSHM Award for Outstanding Service in Hospital Medicine shall be presented to a Canadian physician in recognition of exceptional service to the discipline of Hospital Medicine.
