West Parry Sound Health Centre (WPSHC) is looking for permanent and locum physicians to join our Hospitalist program. WPSHC provides a wide range of hospital and community services to the area’s 24,000 permanent and 100,000+ seasonal residents. WPSHC is a 70-bed facility, including a 6-bed closed intensive care unit. Hospitalists act as most responsible physician (MRP) for patients admitted to hospital, excluding ICU and obstetrical patients.

The 14th CSHM Annual Conference will include a scientific session, featuring Posters and Oral Presentations. We are pleased to invite all individuals and organizations involved in Hospital Medicine in Canada and internationally, to submit their projects and research activities for publication in the CSHM Annual Conference Proceedings. Abstracts will be chosen by a panel of experts from the CSHM Research Committee on the basis of originality and scientific merit.Abstract Themes

Innovations in designing hospital medical programs specifically, and inpatient care programs more broadly. Submissions could highlight projects to improve system efficiency (such as reducing length of stay), hospitalist involvement in teaching and educational activities, post-acute clinics, and projects that address care transitions.
