The CSHM Award for Outstanding Service in Hospital Medicine was presented to Dr. Echo Enns of Calgary, Alberta.

This award is presented to a Canadian physician in recognition of exceptional service to the discipline of Hospital Medicine. Criteria for this award includes organizational activities, innovations in hospital or medical groups, leadership in organized medicine or the community, contributions in public policy and other subjective considerations.

The CSHM Award for Clinical Excellence was presented to Dr. Caroline Benedek of Vancouver, BC.

This award is presented to a Canadian Physician in recognition of exemplary clinical service in Hospital Medicine. Criteria includes outstanding contributions to patient care, advancement of clinical knowledge, professionalism, leadership in medicine, excellence in practice management and other subjective considerations.
