Our clients, Grand River Hospital and St. Mary’s General Hospital, are two separately governed hospitals located in Kitchener-Waterloo in South Central Ontario. The hospitals function as an integrated system with complementary clinical programs serving a population base of approximately 500,000 with a common medical staff and governance structure including a single Medical Advisory Committee chaired by a common Chief of Staff. 

Grand River Hospital is a comprehensive community hospital providing a broad range of general, specialty and sub-specialty programs. The hospital has academic affiliations with the University of Western Ontario, McMaster University and the University of Waterloo. Grand River Hospital is seeking dedicated Hospitalists to join their well-established Department of Hospital Medicine at the Grand River Hospital and Freeport sites.

Their service-oriented Hospitalist team provides high-quality care to a diverse mixture of adult medical cases as the attending physician. This mature Department has grown to become one of the leading Hospitalist programs in Ontario boasting excellent specialist back-up, well developed policies and procedures, and full support from the senior leadership team. The hospital provides a CCRT and an Intensivist staffed ICU.

The successful candidate will be a Family Medicine Physician (CCFP) or Specialist (FRCPC) with solid clinical and interpersonal skills and will possess or be eligible for an Ontario license.
