CAMROSE IN-PATIENT CARE PROGRAM

If you are a family physician, who loves to manage a variety of acute care medical patients, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and are interested in working as part of a dynamic team in a rural setting, we want to hear from you!
 
The Camrose In-Patient Care Program is seeking qualified physicians to fill a number of positions for our newly developed program at Covenant Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Camrose, Alberta. The Camrose In-Patient Care program will be comprised of a high functioning team of family physicians and healthcare providers with an interest in medical inpatient care. The program will provide high quality and timely care for patients requiring admission to an acute facility.

As the Most Responsible Physician (MRP), team members play a valuable role in the delivery of family medicine level care to both attached and unattached medical patients requiring hospitalization. Core services include daily scheduled care, assessment of new patients for admission to the program and after hours support. There is opportunity to participate in program development and implementation as well as additional opportunities to work across the continuum in our primary care and long term care programs.
