The London Regional Cancer Program (LRCP) is the primary academic regional cancer provider for Southwestern Ontario and provides a comprehensive range of cancer care services to a population of 1.5 million.  The Radiation Treatment Program provides high quality, innovative radiation treatment services and supports a strong academic Radiation Oncology Division within the Department of Oncology.

General Practitioner Oncology (GPO), Radiation Treatment Program

The Radiation Treatment Program is seeking applications for a Full time GPO in Radiation Oncology.   The successful applicant for this position will have an MD degree and certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Radiation Oncology.  As well, they must be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.  

The position is full time and would involve primarily inpatient management of Radiation Oncology patients. Radiation Oncologists provide oncologic support. Usual working hours are from 8:30- 4:30. Some outpatient work and on call would also be expected. Experience in oncology would be an asset, but additional local training is available for the successful candidate if needed. Remuneration is on a per diem basis ranging from $728-965 per day depending upon experience. Additional remuneration is provided for on call services.

This is a permanent position located at London Health Sciences Center Victoria Hospital. The successful individual will be an employee of the London Regional Cancer program on a per diem basis.
