Our client, Pembroke Regional Hospital (PRH) delivers a broad range of acute, post-acute, outpatient and diagnostic services to a mixed urban and rural population of approximately 100,000 residents in the Upper Ottawa Valley area.
The hospital is located approximately one and a half hours west of Ottawa, situated on the idyllic shores of the Ottawa River close to Algonquin Park. PRH provides an array of diagnostic and specialist services including CT, MRI, anaesthesia, internal medicine, surgery, psychiatry, Ob/Gyn, Orthopedics, and an inpatient rehabilitation program.
PRH is seeking an exceptional clinician who can provide visionary leadership to their well-established Department of Hospitalist Medicine. Join PRH’s leadership team as Chief of Hospitalist Medicine.
Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the Chief of Hospitalist Medicine will advance PRH’s mission and vision for excellence in the provision of the safest and highest quality of care. Their service oriented Hospitalist team provides exceptional care to a diverse mixture of adult clinical cases as the attending physician. This mature Department has grown to become one of the leading Hospitalist programs in Ontario boasting excellent specialist back-up, well developed policies and procedures, and full support from the senior leadership team.
The successful candidate will be a Family Medicine Physician (CCFP) or Specialist (FRCPC) with solid clinical and interpersonal skills and will possess or be eligible for Ontario licensure.
